Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reportedly looks markedly different after a few months in prison. Reports indicate that Diddy has lost a ton of weight and his hair appeared grayer.
Diddy charged with numerous federal charges and was arrested by United States Homeland Security agents in a New York City hotel on September 16.
Combs was booked and pled not guilty before being taking to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he has been held ever since.
“Law & Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner said, ‘He appeared just astonishingly thinner, which you can expect to be inside a federal detention center for a couple of months now – a lot different from the luxury lifestyle that he was living before.'”
“‘He appeared very noticeably thinner, and maybe being locked up in detention is starting to wear on him. He appeared grayer, too. But again, he appeared just how you would expect Diddy to appear for a hearing.'” [via Newsweek]
Combs has pled not guilty to his charges and faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in prison if found guilty during his trial, which is set to begin in May 2025.
Federal investigators allege in their indictment that Combs “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct” for decades.
Authorities allege that Combs’ ‘criminal enterprise’ engaged in decades of, among other crimes, “human trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
“For decades, Sean Combs, the defendant, abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct,” the official indictment says of Combs’ alleged criminal empire.
“To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources, and influence of the multifaceted business empire that he led and controlled, creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
Combs first rose to fame in the 1990s as a producer, founding Bad Boy Records in 1993 and signing the late Notorious B.I.G. as his first client. Combs managed Biggie and served as his hype man before releasing his debut studio album, No Way Out, in 1997.
