Newly released footage that was filmed in 2016 shows embattled rapper and producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs brutally beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hallway at a Los Angeles hotel.
Cassie, who says the assault left her with a black eye, filed a federal suit against Diddy in November 2023 that has since been settled for an undisclosed amount. Diddy and Cassie were in an on-and-off relationship between the years 2007 and 2018.
The video of the assault, obtained by CNN, comes as Diddy is under federal investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for alleged human trafficking crimes.

“The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light,” Cassie’s attorney Douglas H. Wigdor said in a statement.
Assault is just one of many crimes that Diddy has allegedly committed against Cassie, as her 2023 lawsuit claimed that he beat her, drugged her, and forced her to have intercourse with multiple male prostitutes while Diddy filmed the encounters.
A second lawsuit filed against Diddy by a woman named Joi Dickerson-Neal claims that Diddy drugged and sexually assaulted her while she was at Syracuse University in 1991.
A third unidentified woman also sued Diddy for sexual assault, alleging that Diddy and singer Aaron Hall took turns sexually assaulting her and her friend, also in 1991.
Back in April, Diddy and his son Christian were named as defendants in a lawsuit filed by former employee Grace O’Marcaigh which alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Christian, aided by Diddy, in December 2022.
Diddy, through his lawyers, has denied all of the allegations made against him.
