After federal authorities raided his Los Angeles and Miami homes earlier this year in connection to a human and sex trafficking investigation, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was officially taken into custody by authorities in New York on Monday, September 16.

Following his arrest, Sean Combs’ indictment was unsealed, revealing a laundry list of crimes, as his “criminal enterprise” has been accused of sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, obstruction of justice, and more.

The official indictment says that Diddy — whose lawyers say he will be pleading not guilty — has engaged in “verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual” abuse throughout the years.

“For decades, Sean Combs, the defendant, abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct,” the official indictment claims.

“To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources, and influence of the multifaceted business empire that he led and controlled, creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”

The rapper/producer is accused of hosting sex parties called “Freak Offs” where he would “manipulate women and commercial sex workers (who he flew in across state and federal lines) to be a part of highly-orchestrated sexual performances.

Combs would allegedly drug the participants with substances such as ketamine or ecstasy to keep them obedient — these “Freak Offs” could sometimes last for days — and tape them, using the footage as blackmail. After the “Freak Offs”, Combs would then give the alleged victims IV fluids for peak recovery.

Combs, 54 years old, had a net worth of over $1 billion prior before a slew of allegations and lawsuits began pouring in over recent years. Those lawsuits and allegations led to investigations and those investigations have now resulted in Diddy being arrested and charged.

Specifically, Diddy — who allegedly “threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires for years” — has been charged with racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution

Having gone by many nicknames over the years — Diddy, P. Diddy, Puffy, Puff Daddy, etc. — Diddy first came onto the scene in the 90s as a producer with his record label Bad Boy Records, making a name for himself by signing Notorious B.I.G. After establishing himself as a producer, Diddy then released his debut studio album No Way Out in 1997.
