Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs hasn’t even been in police custody for a week and he’s already reportedly on suicide watch.

The allegedly criminal 54-year-old rapper and producer, who is being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail, is on “suicide watch,” according to a report from PEOPLE.

Diddy was arrested by Homeland Security agents in a New York City hotel on Tuesday, September 17, and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

According to the U.S Department of Justice National Institute of Corrections, suicide watch is “supervisory precautions taken for suicidal inmates that require frequent observation.”

Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges he faces. If found guilty, Diddy faces up to life in prison and a minimum of 15 years. In their indictment, federal authorities say Diddy “verbally, sexually, physically, and emotionally” abused his victims for “decades.”

“For decades, Sean Combs, the defendant, abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct,” the official indictment says of Combs’ alleged criminal empire.

“To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources, and influence of the multifaceted business empire that he led and controlled, creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”

The headlining-grabbing portion of Diddy’s indictment details the alleged days-long “Freak Off” parties he held wherein he would allegedly force sex workers into days of drugs and debauchery, even feeding them IV fluids when it was over so they could recover. Diddy would also sometimes allegedly film the encounters without the participants’ knowledge and use the footage as blackmail.

When raiding his Los Angeles and Miami homes in March of this year, federal authorities said they found over 1,000 bottles of baby oil.

Diddy’s next conference hearing is currently scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, at 10 a.m. EST.
