Of the many disturbing details in the federal indictment of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, one that has grabbed many of the headlines is the fact that federal authorities reportedly found “thousands” of bottles of baby oil and lube when raiding Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes in March.

Lawyer Marc Agnifilo has been hired to defend the disgraced rapper and producer and has cooked up an absurd explanation for Diddy’s baby oil cache, claiming that his client, like many Americans, enjoys buying things in bulk from Costco.

“I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know,” attorney Marc Agnifilo told The New York Post outside Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where Diddy is being housed — alongside criminals such as infamous FTX con artist Sam Bankman-Fried — after being denied bail by a judge.

“And you know these are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do, you know, we can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was there would be no more people.”

Diddy was arrested by Homeland Security agents in a New York City hotel on Monday, September 16 on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

“For decades, Sean Combs, the defendant, abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct,” the federal government said of Diddy’s crimes in the official criminal indictment.

“To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources, and influence of the multifaceted business empire that he led and controlled, creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”

The 54-year-old has pled not guilty to the charges. If convicted, Diddy faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in prison.
