‘Never In My Wildest Dreams’: Woman Buys New Pack Of Smucker’s Uncrustables. What She Finds Inside Sends Her Reeling

Crusts on bread have always been a dividing line for picky eaters, which is exactly why Smucker’s Uncrustables took off when they launched in 1995. The sealed, crust-free PB&J became a staple among the crust-haters and now has more than 10 flavors in rotation.

One woman recently opened a fresh pack expecting the usual single sandwich, but she could never imagine what she’d find inside.

Woman Opens Smucker’s Uncrustable To Find Lovely Surprise

TikTok creator Maria (@maria.p_37) shared the moment in a now-viral clip that has racked up over 1.2 million views. In the video, she holds up a still-wrapped Uncrustable and can’t quite believe what she’s seeing.

“Are you seeing what I’m seeing right now?” she asks, turning the package toward the camera. “Do you see what is in here?”

She slowly opens the wrapper and reveals the jackpot: not one, but two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches sealed together in the same plastic.

“I can’t believe it’s a double Uncrustable in one packaging,” she says. “I never even dreamed that this was possible. Two Uncrustables, one package.”

Once the shock wears off, she moves straight to the important question: Does this still count as one serving? “Do you think it’s still the 210 calories?” she asks, pointing to the label. “’Cause it’s one. The serving size is one.”

For Maria, the timing made the whole thing feel like a tiny cosmic reward. “You know what? I had a bad day,” she admits.

“Wednesday and Thursday. It’s a great day,” she says, before taking a bite.

Has Anyone Else Gotten A ‘Double’ Before?

As wild as it looks, this isn’t completely unheard of. On Reddit, one user once shared a similar “double Uncrustable” on r/mildlyinteresting, where people post odd little glitches in everyday products.

Bread and dough products often go through fast, automated lines where machines stamp, cut, and seal portions in seconds. If two pieces overlap or stick together at the wrong moment, they can slip into one wrapper as a single unit. It’s the kind of quality-control miss that would usually bother a brand—except in this case, nobody is complaining about extra peanut butter and jelly.

Because the treats are sealed and frozen, there’s no safety concern here. The biggest “problem,” if you can call it that, is deciding whether to eat both at once or save one for later.

Viewers Are Delighted For Her

In the comments, people reacted like she’d found a golden ticket. One person wrote, “UncrusDOUBLE!”

Others took it as proof that sometimes the universe hands you a small win when you need it. “God really does have favorites,” another viewer wrote.

Some shared their own bonus-snack stories, like one commenter who recalled, “One time I got 2 fruit roll up by the foots in one lil pouch. 2 FOOTS OF ROLL UP. I read the box for like an hour trying to see if this was a gold ticket prize type situation afterwards lol.”

Another person celebrated the moment like a birth announcement: “It’s twins!!! Congrats,” they joked.
