Who among us hasn’t mistakenly gotten into a police car thinking it was a taxi cab with 1,000 joints? Honest mistake. We take you to the self-proclaimed autonomous anarchist ‘freetown’ district of Christiania in Copenhagen, where one man made a tiny little mistake and got himself arrested. The Danish drug dealer was carrying approximately 1,000 marijuana joints when he got into a police car believing it was a taxi cab. On the bright side, he did get a ride and it was even free.
“Last night a cannabis dealer from Christiania who wanted to get home quickly got into a taxi. He received a big surprise when he realized it was actually a police car he was sitting in,” the Copenhagen police wrote on their Twitter. “The police officers were happy to see him, since he was carrying around 1,000 joints.” He should have taken an Uber.

The Danish police initially stated that the discombobulated man would face a fine, but a later tweet suggested that he could face jail time. Jail time for weed? In Copenhagen?

Apparently, cannabis is illegal in Denmark. Who knew? The moral of the story is never get high on your own supply.
