With her fiancee Callum Turner reportedly locked into being cast as the next James Bond, new reports indicate that Amazon is eyeing Dua Lipa to write and perform the theme song for Bond 26, which is being directed by Dune filmmaker Denis Villeneuve.
Given Dua Lipa’s status as one of the biggest pop stars and generally most popular women in the world, it certainly wouldn’t be beyond a company like Amazon to hire her fiancée Callum Turner with the explicit goal of packaging Lipa alongside him.
According to new reports, that appears to be the plan, as The Daily Mail has reported that the 30-year-old Radical Optimism singer is being “tipped” to write and perform the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film, which will be the first under Amazon’s control.
Amazon is reportedly eyeing Dua Lipa to write and perform the theme song for Bond 26, which will reportedly star her fiancée Callum Turner
“If Callum, 35, does pick up 007’s famous Walther PPK pistol, producers at Amazon may seal a two-for-one deal with Dua to create a new song for the opening and closing credits.”

While Lipa has explored launching an acting career with roles in Barbie and Argylle, these reports only point to her being involved with the soundtrack and not the actual film. Still, it’s difficult to imagine a more “Bond girl” looking woman than Lipa, so who knows.
The Daily Mail adds that Turner’s casting as 007 is the “worst kept secret” with the 35-year-old Eternity star reportedly “blabbing all over town” that he’s landed the life-changing part.
In addition to Villeneuve as the director, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has been tapped to write the film, which is currently scheduled to be released in 2027. Villeneuve is currently in post-production on Dune: Part Three, which is scheduled to hit movie theaters in the United States on December 18, 2026.
