Mega pop star Dua Lipa recently began her latest tour, The Radical Optimism Tour, with a string of dates in Australia. The Radical Optimism Tour is the third tour of Lipa’s career following The Self-Titled Tour in 2017-2018 and the Future Nostalgia Tour in 2022.

Dua Lipa has become one of the biggest pop stars in the world in recent years, as evidenced by her album sales, growing acting career and 83-plus million followers on Instagram. The Radical Optimism Tour is in support of her third studio album, Radical Optimism, which was released in May 2024.

As such, the singer, model and actress is certainly no stranger to going viral, which is exactly what happened on the first night of her tour after a fan in the front row got an up-close-and-personal video of her performance.

At the time of this writing, the original viral post on social media has over 32 million views and counting. While the video is technically chill as far as FCC standards go — you’d be able to air this on TV — I also would also recommend some discretion before firing this one up in the cubicle or open-plan office or whatever.

“I’d kill almost every single one of you to have this view,” said a viral response to the video with over 100,000 likes and 6 million views.

The 29-year-old British-Albanian pop star clearly got wind of the fact that the video was going viral on social media as she shared the clip on her Instagram Story, leading some of her fans to believe she knows its “breaking the internet.”

Lipa’s tour will spend all of March in Australia before it moves on to New Zealand, and then Europe over the summer. Lipa will come over to North America in September, beginning with Canada before hitting the United States. The tour is set to conclude in October in Seattle.
