The first official trailer for Ron Howard’s newest film Eden has been released. Eden features three of the biggest actresses in the world right now, two of which are Academy Award nominated: Ana de Armas, Sydney Sweeney, and Vanessa Kirby.

Eden is actually one of two Sydney Sweeney-starring movies to hit theaters on August 22, as she’ll also be seen starring in the film Americana.

Ana de Armas and Vanessa Kirby have also had busy summers, with the former starring in the John Wick spinoff Ballerina and the latter featuring in Marvel Studios’ highly-anticipated The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The Fantastic Four: First Steps, in which Kirby stars as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, will be hitting theaters in just a few weeks on Friday, July.

Check out the official synopsis and trailer for Eden, hitting theaters on Friday, August 22, below.

Eden follows a group of people fueled by a profound desire for change; in order to turn their back to society they leave everything behind and set their futures on the harsh landscape of the Galapagos.”

In addition to the A-list actress trio of de Armas, Sweeney, and Kirby, Eden also stars Jude Law and Daniel Bruhl.

Eden comes from Oscar-winning director Ron Howard, known for his films across the decades such as Splash, Parenthood, Backdraft, Apollo 13, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man, The Da Vinci Code, Frost/Nixon, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and more.

Earlier this summer, we had that chance to sit down with Oscar-nominated actress Ana de Armas for a lengthy chat about doing her own stunts, training with Keanu Reeves, her memories of making Blade Runner 2049, and more, so make sure to check that out below.
