Elon Musk reveals that he doesn’t go out in public anymore after Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Two months ago, Kirk was shot and killed outside of an event in Utah.

During a recent episode of Katie Miller’s podcast, Musk admitted that it’s become a security risk for him to go out in public after Kirk’s death.

“There are serious security issues. It’s not that I don’t want to. I simply can’t.”

“[Charlie’s assassination] has reinforced the severity of the situation, where, life is on hardcore mode. You make one mistake, you’re dead. It only takes one mistake.”

Musk isn’t the only one worried about going out in public. Last month, Barstool’s Dave Portnoy spoke about how he’s worried about his safety following Kirk’s death.

“I’m far more aware of it, for the first time ever, I had security at my house, like 24/7. You know, you start getting these yahoos on social media, and there’s like yahoos.”

“I don’t even know what they’re saying, but they start talking about me, trying to get my name because they’re just in this endless cycle of needing to stay in the news, but they start talking about me, mention my name, they’ll open the floodgates on just lunatics, and it only takes one, so yeah I had security at my house 24/7.”
