Elon Musk, in an effort to “tweet through” the avalanche of headlines about him being listed multiple times in the Epstein files, took a shot at Christopher Nolan over Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o’s rumored role in The Odyssey. According to Musk, Nolan has “lost his integrity.”

Over the weekend, while taking a break from fruitless defending his multiple mentions in the Epstein files, Elon Musk decided to weigh in on pop culture after unconfirmed reports claimed that Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o will be playing Helen of Troy in The Odyssey.

The entire discourse around the “realisticness” of The Odyssey has been nothing short of insanity considering it is a FICTIONAL story. It doesn’t matter whether you’re talking about Benny Safdie’s armor, Tom Holland using the word “Father” or Lupita Nyong’o’s character — it’s all IMAGINARY, therefore leaving the vision of the story ultimately up to its teller, which, in this case, is Christopher Nolan.

When Homer wrote Odyssey in 8th century BC, it’s entirely possible that he described Helen as being “fair-skinned and blonde” because he had never SEEN a black woman before.

The Odyssey, hitting theaters on Friday, July 17, stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as Telemachus, Zendaya as Athena, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Charlize Theron as Circe, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, Benny Safdie as Agamemnon, Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, John Leguizamo as Eumaeus, Mia Goth as Melantho, and many more.
