In case you’ve ever been curious how Elon Musk has been divorced three times (he and Grimes were never officially married but they do have children together), then look no further than his recent tweet about Taylor Swift.
Tweeted around the same time that pop star Taylor Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States, Elon Musk unfurled a Hall of Fame incel tweet, as he offered to impregnate Taylor Swift and die for her cats.
“Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life,” Musk tweeted on Tuesday, September 10.

Following the first Presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former Donald Trump, Swift officially endorsed Harris on Instagram and signed the post as “Childless Cat Lady,” a reference to Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance’s fixation on the sexual and reproductive habits of American women.
Scroll through the quote tweets of Musk’s posts and you’ll find that his comments about impregnating Swift are being widely labeled as creepy. Also simply searching for the word “creepy” on X, formerly Twitter, will fetch tons of criticism of Musk.
“I’m sorry but the richest man on the planet casually telling a woman he’s not dating that he’s going to put a baby in her is so skin crawlingly creepy I don’t know where to start,” says a tweet with over two million views and 125,000 likes.
“No one has ever been as divorced as Elon Musk offering to impregnate Taylor Swift. F—— weirdo,” said one viral response to Musk’s bizarre post.
“That Elon post about Taylor Swift is absolutely vile brother. I don’t get surprised by what he says online anymore but my god that’s such an insane and telling way to talk about a woman,” another popular reply read.
“Elon responding to tonight by telling Taylor Swift he’ll impregnate her is peak weirdo and creeper behavior,” a post with over 650,000 views states.

Earlier this month, Republican nominee Donald Trump said that if he wins the 2024 Presidential Election, he’ll give Musk — who has overseen a complete collapse of X/Twitter’s value since officially purchasing it in late 2022 — a position in his government.
