A massive fire at the Roswell Air Center in New Mexico has sparked new conspiracy theories. The fire occurred just south of Hangar 84 – a site long linked to the infamous 1947 UFO crash.

Hangar 84, which actually predated the Roswell Air Center, is where the United States government is alleged to have stored alien bodies and debris from the 1947 crash.

“Callers stated seeing flames coming from the Aresale building,” Chaves County News Network reported at the time of the fire. “Upon arrival, firefighters discovered heavy smoke and flames showing and began cutting into the side of the metal building to gain access.

“While on scene, we witnessed a large explosion, shortly after firefighters backed out and did an all-call, county-wide response, which requests all county departments to respond.”

Fire at Hangar 84 in Roswell sparks conspiracy talk

According to DailyMail.com, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire or whether any historically significant objects were affected was unknown. Regardless of the lack of information, conspiracy theorists were quick to jump on the incident near Area 51.

Some tried to tie the fire in Roswell to the release of a new record-setting documentary about UFOs.

“Well, isn’t that super interesting and an oddly timed ‘coincidence’ that right as the public starts getting all curious about our past… weird fire breaks out for no reason right next to Hangar 84,” one person wrote on Reddit.

“In April of last year, a fire was reported at Roswell Air Field. Tonight, another fire has taken place,” another wrote on Reddit. “The timing is suspect to say the least. “The release of Age of Disclosure, the firehose of information coming out after David Grusch’s testimony that lead to a historic hearing.

“There are no coincidences. There was a previous fire at Roswell Air Field last year, and tonight there’s another one. There’s a party in control that is scared. And here we are confronting it as a collective.”

Of course, there were a few skeptics. One of them asked, “Do people really think they would dispose anything suspicious by blatantly burning it?”

To which someone replied, “Look up CIA burning MKUltra documents right before Congress got hold of them in 1973. Sometimes you gotta throw everything in the fire when they’re closing in on you.”

The truth is out there.
