Travelers at Miami International Airport will soon have the option to take naps in private.
In November, MIA will get private rooms equipped with beds, Wi-Fi, noise-canceling tech, and power outlets provided by South Florida company Wait N’Rest.
“We’re incredibly excited to be launching Wait N’Rest at Miami International Airport,” Wait N’Rest founder Duilio Sanguineti Hart told the Miami New Times. “As one of the most globally connected and culturally influential airports in the U.S., MIA is the perfect place to introduce a new standard of rest, wellness, and privacy for travelers.”
“We’re not just solving for layovers; we’re providing a more thoughtful, private alternative to overcrowded VIP lounges, designed around the real needs of modern travelers.”
While MIA already has a hotel at the airport, it doesn’t accept hourly room rentals.
According to the Miami New Times, Wait N’Rest will charge $30-$60 an hour for their nap rooms.
Wait N’ Rest currently has sleep centers at airports in Bogotá, Colombia, and Lima, Peru, and plans to expand to Toronro, among other cities.
