Over the weekend, the CDC made several recommendations for social distancing that included avoiding large gatherings of over 50 people in one place to help contain the current viral outbreak in the United States.

Despite the fact that several cities are basically in lockdown, Florida’s Clearwater beach is still open to the public and on Monday several hundred people packed the beach despite the health concerns around the nation.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Clearwater closes it’s beaches soon the same Miami Beach did earlier this weekend because this is absolutely absurd.
