Ever since her American Eagle jeans campaign over the summer, Sydney Sweeney has found herself as a main avatar in the never-ending culture war, with Fox News taking particular interest in her.

Fox News’ latest segment was about how Sydney Sweeney has been recently mocked on social media for getting a “Mar-a-Lago” makeover, and dropped their “chryon” at the perfect moment to show off Sweeney’s clevage from the recent premiere of her new film The Housemaid.

Fox News ran a segment about people saying Sydney Sweeney has gotten a “Mar-a-Lago makeover” and dropped their chryon at the perfect moment

The “Mag-a-Lago makeover” that some people on social media have been joking about came following her recent appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote The Housemaid, which hits movie theaters on Christmas Day.

In addition to Sydney Sweeney, the Paul Feig directed The Housemaid — an adaptation of the best-selling thriller novel — also stars Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Skelnar, Michele Morrone, and Elizabeth Perkins.

According to early box office tracking reports, The Housemaid is shaping up to be a much-needed hit for the actress, as it’s expected to make about $12-15 million in its opening weekend (against a $25 million budget).

For comparison, Sweeney’s last three films — Christy, Eden, and Americana, all released this year — made less than $5 million at the box office combined.

You can check out the official trailer for The Housemaid, hitting theaters on December 25, below.
