Sometimes people stare at your car out of envy. Sometimes it’s because you left your lights on. And other times, it’s because there’s a bumper sticker of a skeleton on the back demanding a part of his male reproductive system be returned. That’s what one Utah man found out after driving around town all day in his grey GMC truck, reportedly getting strange looks from everyone he passed.
In a recent TikTok, Lindsey (@lindsforthegirls) films herself looking confused before flipping the camera to her husband.
He stands next to his truck, just as confused. He has one hand out like he’s in the middle of a “what is going on?” moment.
“POV: Your husband drove around all day wondering why people were giving him funny looks…” the on-screen text notes.
She then zooms in on the back of the truck. And there’s a large sticker slapped near the bumper.
It reads, “I want my [male body part] back.” The text is next to an eerie drawing of a skeleton creature perched on a throne.
“Who tf put this on his car,” Lindsey adds in the caption. Her caption implies it’s a total stranger, not her, pulling a prank. Even worse? “It’s his work truck too,” she adds.
Is It Legal To Stick Something On Someone Else’s Car?
Even if it seems harmless, placing a sticker, magnet, or decal on someone else’s vehicle without permission counts as vandalism in many places.
That means a prank like this sticker might legally be viewed as damaging someone else’s car. And that’s especially true if removing it leaves behind residue or scratches.
In many states, vandalism laws even cover actions like placing posters, signs, or stickers on the property of others without consent. It’s often treated as a misdemeanor. Therefore, it’s punishable by fines, restitution, or even jail time. However, it all comes down to how serious or costly the damage is and which jurisdiction you’re in.
Was This Parking Revenge?
Lindsey’s video has garnered over 442,500 views. People in the comments had theories. Some blamed his parking skills. Others suspected petty revenge.
“Oh nooo he must’ve parked bad lmao,” one person said.
“This was deffff one of the parking police ppl,” another added.
“THIS IS FERAL BEHAVIOR,” a third user exclaimed.
