Google Maps is about to get a lot more fun. March 10th is National Mario Day and Google is celebrating by using a Mario Kart in Google Maps. There is a “Mario Time” button that puts a Go-Kart-driving Mario in Google Maps. Great, it’s going to be super dangerous this week. People are going to be watching the Google Maps while they’re driving to see if their Mario Go-Kart hits a banana or not.
Wahoo! Now you can navigate the world as Mario in @GoogleMaps to celebrate #MAR10Day! Check out #MarioMaps on Google Maps now for a week. pic.twitter.com/iX3uZMfLrc

Nintendo and Google have teamed up to bring Mario to Google Maps app on iOS or Android. To engage “Mario Time,” you’ll need to click the brick with a “?” on it after you’ve selected your destination. There will be no banana peels or turtle shells, so please keep your eyes on the road. In the past, Google also unleased Pac-Man on the streets in the Maps app. Sadly, you can’t drive the mustachioed plumber’s Go-Kart all the time and the incredible mod will only last a week. Lets-a-go!
Happy Mar10 Day!
