This is just one of those good ol’ fashioned viral videos which reminds me of why I love the Internet. There’s nothing profound to be learned from this video other than the fact that everything is funnier when you add panicked Irish accents.
I’ll paint the scene for you: this family in Ireland found a bat had flown into their house so they try desperately to get the bat out of the house by catching it. Anyone who has ever tried to catch a bat knows how impossible of a task this can be, and when you add the panicked Irish accents this video becomes truly perfect:

With Hurricane Irma bearing down on my house and expected to destroy my whole life at some point on Saturday, it was nice to take a minute and laugh at this video. Even with the 200 MPH winds on the horizon, it’s important to take some time and laugh at mindless bullshit or we Floridians might all lose our sanity while waiting for the mayhem to begin.
