Jack In The Box Teams Up With Snoop Dogg For $4.20 Stoner Combo Meal For Cali’s Legalization Of Weed

Snoop Dogg 3 Ridiculous Questions

Kimmel

California is set to legalize recreational marijuana on Jan. 1, and to celebrate the joyous news properly Jack in the Box is teaming up with Snoop Dogg to offer a stoner combo meal with the special price of $4.20 — because of course $4.20. Snoop’s Merry Jane brand and Jack in the Box have a wonderful collaboration and will offer the “Merry Munchie Meal,” a box of deep-fried goodies that will satisfy all space cowboys seeking much-needed nutrition. Only two problems: the stoner snacks will only be available for a limited time and they will only be offered at select Jack in the Box locations.

For the unbelievably low, low price of $4.20, you can get the Merry Munchie Meal that includes:

  • 3 Chicken Strips
  • 2 Tacos
  • 5 Mini Churros
  • French Fries
  • Onion Rings
  • A Small Drink

Jack knows their audience. That seems like a ridiculous amount of food for only four dollars and twenty cents, but this is Jack in the Box, so it makes sense. But only a small drink? All that sodium, fried food, and cotton mouth and you only have a small orange Fanta to wash it all down? One more question: isn’t Jack in the Box’s cuisine already aimed at stoners?

This is perfect for stoners, it’s got all of the odd AF combinations of foods any stoned individual would order, but in one tidy meal so there’s no starring at the menu for 45 minutes contemplating what to get. More fast food chains should take this approach of creating pothead-friendly combo meals with wacky shit in it.

“Launching the Merry Munchie Meal is the perfect way for both companies to celebrate legalization in our shared home state of California,” said Scott Chung, chief operations officer of Merry Jane. Marketing 101. “We are about welcoming all of our guests, no matter what they’re craving or why they’re craving it,” said Iwona Alter, chief marketing officer for Jack in the Box. “Whether you’re at a concert, up late playing video games, or pulling an all-nighter.”

The stoner combo meal will only be available from January 18-25 and will only be offered at select Jack in the Box locations in Long Beach, which is Snoop’s hometown. If the Merry Munchie Meals perform well, Jack in the Box plans to expand them across California. So there’s a lot of pressure on the weedheads in Long Beach to show initiative. Oh boy, these meals are never going to be offered outside of Long Beach.
