Actress Jennifer Garner had a very memorable experience this past weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, but it was probably one that she would rather not have had.

Garner, who is no strangers to action roles herself having played Sydney Bristow in Alias, Elektra Natchios in two Daredevil-related films, and Riley North in Peppermint, was looking for someone to come to her rescue after getting stuck in a elevator at the convention.

“Baby’s first Comic Con: a short story,” Garner captioned a series of videos chronicling her harrowing experience.

“Hey guys, we’re stuck on this elevator. I need, umm, I could use a Wolverine, I could use a Deadpool, I could use someone. Yeah, we’re looking for stairs. Okay… Thanks for having us here. My first Comic-Con. Bye for now,” Jennifer Garner said in the first video which was time-stamped “2 minutes.”

In the second video, time-stamped “11 minutes,” Garner tells the camera, “It’s toasty. I’m sphitzy. I need to blot. Don’t cut the blue wire, is what we’re hearing.”

The third video, now 35 minutes into the ordeal, sees Jennifer Garner still sitting on the floor of the elevator.

“I think I heard on an episode of The Office or Brooklyn Nine-Nine that you’re supposed to sit, so we’re sitting.”

In the fourth video, now 41.5 minutes in, Jennifer Garner and the rest of the stranded have resorted to singing “99 Bottles of Beer.”

Finally, in the fifth video, Garner says, “We’re 45 minutes in. Calling 911.”

Jennifer Garner shared another video at the one hour mark, then at one hour and 12 minutes, Garner, looking very sweaty, reacts with shock and joy as someone finally pries the elevator door open.

In the comments of Garner’s Instagram videos, one of the key people who was involved in the rescue wrote, “Hello Ms. Garner. I was the Captain who responded to your elevator rescue and picked you out. Pleasure to serve! I’m sorry it took so long for them to call us out there to help. Glad to see everything worked out well. Pleasure meeting you (briefly).”
