In 2017, noted house flipper, singer, and (of course) actor Jeremy Renner decided to launch an app that was essentially his own version of Instagram with the intention of allowing his most dedicated fans to interact with him and gain access to the exclusive content he’s been pumping out for the past couple of years.
The app largely flew under the radar, but a couple of weeks ago, it came to the attention of Ironic Twitter icon Boring As Heck, who decided to do some trolling in the comment section of a picture that Renner posted.

The tweet quickly made the rounds and caused countless people to download the app to join the fun and it was soon inundated with a number of accounts designed to cause mass chaos—including users who impersonated Casey Anthony and Jeffery Epstein as well as those who made Renner parody accounts (including Italian Jeremy Renner, which made me laugh out loud the first time I came across it).

Now, it appears the fun has finally come to an end, as Renner recently announced the app is being shut down thanks to the mass chaos the trolls have caused (much to the chagrin of his actual fans, some of whom paid real money to purchase “stars” in order to boost their chances of interacting with the actor).
