Joe Burrow is the latest professional athlete to be robbed during one of his games. A mysterious unnamed woman called police from inside his house on Monday after thieves broke in through a window.
Her relation to the Cincinnati Bengals’ quarterback is unclear at this time.
This most recent incident continues a concerning trend. There has been a significant number of high-profile burglaries over the last few months, which led the NBA to urge its players to increase their security. The FBI is actively involved with a pair of robberies involving Travis Kelce and Travis Kelce.

These incidents seem to happen most often when an athlete is on the road. Burrow led the Bengals to a seven-point win over the Cowboys in Dallas on Monday Night Football. Meanwhile, the aforementioned woman was staying at his house back in Cincinnati. We don’t know who she is.
UPDATE: TMZ identified the mysterious woman as Olivia Ponton after reading the police report.
Ponton is a Sports Illustrated swimsuit and Victoria Secret model with nearly eight million followers on TikTok.
According to Karin Johnson of WLWT5, her mother called the police on her behalf shortly after someone broke into the quarterback’s home.
Someone is trying to break into the house right now. My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there. He’s at the football game. She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding, or if she should go outside. She said someone was in the house.

Radio traffic from Monday night indicated the presence of a security officer on duty at Joe Burrow’s house. The woman could be heard speaking to the officer while on the phone with 911.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the break in. It was unable to confirm any additional details. It also would not confirm the identity of the woman who called.
A shattered window in Burrow’s bedroom, which was ransacked, seems to be the point of entry. The mysterious stay-over lady heard the window shatter and went to hide. She called 911 from there.
Who is this woman? Is it a girlfriend? Is it someone Burrow pays to stay at his house when he is out of town? Is she a housekeeper? UPDATE: it was a model!
Joe Burrow probably didn’t want the world to know of his undefined relationship with Ponton. And yet, because of another robbery of a professional athlete, here we are!
