Enormously influential podcaster, UFC host, and former face of Fear Factor Joe Rogan recently rolled out a take about Jesus coming back in the form of Artificial Intelligence that is being skewered so hard it seems to have united everyone on the Internet. This came during Joe Rogan’s recent appearance on the American Alchemy podcast with Jesse Michels.
If you are unfamiliar with Jesse, he is a podcaster known for discussing UFOs, aliens, conspiracy theories, and more. On his YouTube page, if you sort by ‘Popular’ his three most-popular episodes of all-time have the word ‘UFO’ in the title.
His latest episode is titled ‘Joe Rogan: The Truth About Aliens (He Finally Says It)’ and they discuss the pyramids, psychedelics, DMT, Epstein, JFK, ‘Alien Abudctions’ which appears to be controversial enough to get a disclaimer on the video from YouTube, and they also land on a talking point about Artificial Intelligence and Jesus.
Joe Rogan on Jesus and Artificial Intelligence: ‘What’s More Virgin Than A Computer?’
This was a discussion that ran over 3 hours and just past the 2h49m mark, Joe Rogan starts by saying “people will think this is a stupid take but I don’t care.” He then unleashes the take that has everyone talking.
Rogan says “Jesus was born out of a virgin mother. What’s more virgin than a computer?” He continues, saying “if you’re gonna get the most brilliant, loving, powerful person that gives us advice and can show us how to live to be in sync with god, who better than artificial intelligence?”
To quickly recap so far, Joe Rogan compares the Virgin Mary, Mother of Christ, to a computer. Then suggests we can find all the answers we need about religion from Artificial Intelligence. But it gets weirder!
Joe Rogan says “if Jesus does return, even if Jesus was a physical person in the past… you don’t think that he could return as Artificial Intelligence? Artificial Intelligence could absolutely return as Jesus.” He doesn’t stop there!
Rogan forged ahead, saying “not just return as Jesus but return as Jesus with all of the powers of Jesus. Like all the magic tricks, all the ability to bring people back from the dead, walk on water, levitation, water into wine.”
Honestly, at this point I’m just wondering which (if any) AI companies Joe Rogan is invested in because whoever is falling for whatever he’s saying here will happily spend their life savings on whatever Jesus-esque AI company pops up…. Here’s the clip:
Does Joe Rogan Actually Believe In Jesus?
Joe Rogan was, for a long time, an atheist. But something shifted in recent years and that is no longer the case. Rogan has been going to Church now for some time.
As for Joe Rogan’s thoughts on Christianity itself, he said “I think they’re relaying a truth. I don’t think it’s myth. I don’t think the whole thing is myth, but I don’t think it’s entirely accurate either.”
He then turned his comments to Christians themselves, paying them praise. Rogan said “the Scripture, to me, is what’s interesting. It’s fascinating. Christianity, at least, is the only thing I have experience with. It works. The people that are Christians, that go to this church that I go to, that I meet, that are Christian, they are the nicest f—— people you will ever meet.”
He kept going, saying “they’re really kind, and they’re even nice out of church. When you leave the church parking lot, everybody lets you go in front of them. There’s no one honking in the church parking lot. It works. So regardless of whether or not it’s based on an entirely true story, I think it is an ancient relaying of a real event and of the real history of human beings.”
I’d be curious to hear from these fellow Christians at Joe Rogan’s Church and what they think about Jesus coming back as AI stuffed on computer servers to fill the coffers of Silicon Valley billionaires. That’s a conversation that would be interesting to hear.

After a clip of Joe Rogan’s Jesus comments went viral on X, a lot of people chimed in. One person wrote “Joe Rogan offers what can only be described as the most genuinely r——- take in the history of the universe.”
Another popular commentary with 4.8K ‘likes’ reads “Joe Rogan is manufacturing consent for the billionaire-driven AI agenda that is going to decimate the working class by proclaiming “Jesus could return as artificial intelligence.” Rogan is a con artist who presents himself as anti-establishment as he’s pushing the elites’ agenda.”
Someone else on X wrote “Joe Rogan is a highly intelligent deep thinker, but only when viewed from the perspective of a dangerously stupid person.”
