John Wick: Chapter 4 had its world premiere on Monday night, and as a result, the largely rapturous first reactions to the film have begun to hit the internet.

According to critics, not only is John Wick: Chapter 4 perhaps the best film in the franchise but it’s also one of the greatest action movies ever made, period.

Despite its nearly three-hour-long runtime, the film is apparently perfectly paced:

John Wick: Chapter 4 marks Keanu Reeves’ fourth time in the role since the franchise began back in 2014l.

According to people who have seen the film, the film also includes a post-credit scene for the first time in the history of the franchise.

As for the first three films in the John Wick franchise, those are currently streaming over on Peacock. A fifth John Wick film is also set to release in the coming years, as is the Ana de Armas-starring spinoff Ballerina, which wrapped production back in 2022, putting it on track to release sometime next year.
