Justin Timberlake Arrested, Taken Into Custody For Driving Drunk In Fancy Hamptons Town

Musician and actor Justin Timberlake has been arrested and taken into custody for DUI in Sag Harbor, New York.

The 43-year-old former NSYNC member was arrested on Monday, June 17, and is expected to appear in court today, Tuesday, June 18, at 9:30 a.m. EST, according to ABC New York.

Sag Harbor is a port village near the Hamptons on the Eastern side of Long Island. No further details about Timberlake’s arrest are currently available.

Earlier this year, Timberlake released his fifth solo studio album, Everything I Thought It Was. He also starred in the 2023 films Trolls Band Together and Repitle, which also featured Benicio del Toro and Alicia Silverstone.

Timberlake is set to perform a pair of shows at Manhattan’s iconic Madison Square Garden on June 25 and June 26. At this time, Timberlake has yet to publicly address the arrest and alleged drunk driving incident.

Timberlake has been married to actress Jessica Biel since the year 2012. The pair share two children together.

The actor and pop star broke into the music scene in the mid-1990s as a member of the popular boy band NSYNC. Alongside Timberlake, NSYNC also featured JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass. Timberlake has gone on to have the most successful career of the five by far.

NSYNC was best known for their songs “I Want You Back,” “Girlfriend,” “Pop,” “Gone,” “Bye, Bye Bye,” and “It’s Gonna Be Me.”

As for Timberlake’s solo career, he has produced the popular singles “Cry Me a River,” “Rock Your Body,” “SexyBack,” “My Love,” and “What Goes Around Comes Around.”

His most notable film roles include Alpha Dog, The Social Network, Bad Teacher, Friends with Benefits, In Time, Runner Runner, Trolls, and Palmer.
