Disgraced rapper and neo-Nazi Kanye West released a new song with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs — currently behind bars on a litany of federal charges — that features Combs’ son Christian “King” Combs, singer Jasmine Williams, and West’s 11-year-old daughter North.
According to reports, despite attempts from Kanye West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian — who spent the weekend receiving backlash for her tone-deaf Tesla photoshoot — to stop the release of the song, West shared the track over the weekend amidst a slew of his usual racist and antisemitic content.
The song is titled “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine” and opens with what appears to be a phone call between West and Combs; “When you see me shining, then you see the light,” Williams sings on the track.
“I wanna just thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man. Ain’t nobody reach out to them, ain’t nobody call them,” Combs — who is facing multiple federal charges, including trafficking — says on the recording.
“Absolutely, I love you so much man. You raised me. Even when I ain’t know you, know what I’m saying?” West replies.
According to TMZ, West, who had not seen his kids from weeks prior to the recording, told the 11-year-old North that the vocals would feature on his upcoming “Sunday Service.” West instead put them on a track with Diddy, prompting Kim Kardashian to file a cease and desist in an effort to block the release of the track.
“When Kim found out, we’re told she sent out legal letters demanding a cease & desist. An emergency hearing with a mediator and a judge, which sources say Kanye did not join, was held … and, sources claim Kanye promised not to drop the song. Kim doesn’t want North involved in her dad’s recent behavior, our sources say … or any of the drama surrounding Diddy who is facing federal sex trafficking charges. She’s called everyone she could to keep this song from coming out.”
In tandem with releasing the song, West also shared text messages with Kardashian stating that they are “going to war” and she will have to “kill him” to stop him.
