Kate Upton graced the late-night TV airwaves last night while wearing skin-tight spandex for an 80’s aerobics dance-off and I don’t know why I felt so compelled to share this Kate Upton clip with you gentlemen today but I just had to.
Something about this clip really reminded me of the Eric Prydz music video for ‘Call On Me’ that came out like a decade ago. I don’t remember specifically when that video dropped but I remember that I was spending 2 months in Panama at the time where they’d play that track at the bars/clubs every night and it was stuck in my head 24/7/365. And when I got back to America everyone just assumed I was addicted to the 80’s aerobics music video because that’s what had gone viral here…But I’m getting sidetracked.
Kate Upton was the featured guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she put on some skin-tight spandex and challenged Jimmy to an 80s aerobics dance-off. This is eerily reminiscent of that mall scene from the most recent season of Stranger Things.
Only instead of nobodies dancing on our screen, it’s Kate Upton who initially went viral for her ‘Cat Daddy’ and ‘Do The Dougie’ dances that eventually propelled her to so much fame she was on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. Feel free to skip right through the Jimmy Fallon portions of this clip:
After that glorious dance-off, Kate sat with Jimmy Fallon for a regular interview where she discussed how her married life with Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander is basically the real-life version of the movie Fever Pitch.
By the way, if you’ve never seen that ‘Call On Me’ music video from Eric Prydz that I mentioned above you can find it right here. After watching that for the first time I was wondering how far YouTube would let people go with the…y’know…sexuality and whatnot. That music video really pushed the boundaries on YouTube at the time.
