Key & Peele ran for five hilarious seasons and sadly went off the air on September 9, 2015. For those clamoring for a Key and Peele reunion, we have some exciting news. Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele will star in the upcoming Netflix movie Wendell and Wild. But there’s a catch, because there’s always a catch. The Netflix film is an animated movie where Key and Peele will lend their voices. Still, an animated movie with Key and Peele is better than no Key and Peele at all.

Key and Peele will reunite on Netflix’s Wendell and Wild, which is a stop-motion animated movie. The film will be directed by Henry Selick, who helmed James and the Giant Peach, Coraline, and Nightmare Before Christmas. Peele is writing the script with Selick. Key and Peele will star as two demon brothers who are forced to face off against their arch-enemy in order to escape hell.

There’s no release date yet announced for the film, but stop-motion films take forever to make so don’t expect Wendell and Wild for several years. While we anxiously await, let’s reminisce over two devilishly comical sketches from Key & Peele.
