Kid Rock is speaking out following the backlash after a military helicopter flew near his home.

Over the weekend, Kid Rock posted a video on his Twitter page showing a military helicopter hovering right outside of his home.

“This is a level of respect that sh-t for brains Governor of California will never know. God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her.”

While the Army initially suspended the pilots, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced he would lift their suspension without an investigation.

“Pilots’ suspension LIFTED. No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots,” Hegseth posted on social media.

On Wednesday, Kid Rock spoke to reporters about his personal helicopter flyover, and reacted to the backlash on social media.

“Trump Derangement Syndrome!’ Like, the military can’t even wave at somebody? It’s just two pilots comin’ home from training or whatever the f-ck they were doin’, seein’ a guy wavin’ at ’em — Kid Rock, American patriot — and they decided to hover for a second and say, ‘What’s up, brother?’ And now they’re investigatin’ it? What the f-ck is there to investigate? This is the dumbest sh-t I’ve ever seen in my life. These people are so f-ckin’ deranged. They hate Trump so much that they can’t even let the military show a little love to somebody who supports ’em. ”

Trump was also asked about the situation.

“Well, they probably shouldn’t have been doing it,” Trump said. “Yes, you’re not supposed to be playing games, right?”

“But I take a look at it. They like Kid Rock. I like Kid Rock. Maybe they were trying to defend him. I don’t know,” Trump added.
