A viral quote from Kim Kardashian inquiring about Michael B. Jordan’s relationship status went viral after the 39-year-old Sinners star took home the Academy Award for Best Actor. The quote, however, is not real.
In the aftermath of Michael B. Jordan’s Best Actor win at the 98th Oscars over the weekend, an alleged quote from influencer and model Kim Kardashian began circulating on social media, which saw the 45-year-old ask if MBJ was single “for a friend.” The original viral post was shared by Hoops Crave, who since deleted it.

While the beautiful Kim Kardashian appeared at the Oscars, she seemed very happy for the charming Michael B. Jordan after he won his first Oscar award for his role in Sinners.

In addition to Jordan taking home the Oscar for Best Actor, Sinners won another four awards at the Oscars, including Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Score. Its 16 total nominations were also the most nominations in the history of the award show.
Following his Best Actor win, MBJ will next have a voice role in Netflix film Swapped, will star in and direct a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair, and a remake of Miami Vice from Top Gun: Maverick and F1 director Joseph Kosinski alongside Austin Butler.
