Actress Kristen Bell is taking heat for her wedding anniversary post that seemed to make light of domestic violence, as she fawned over her husband Dax Shepard for not murdering her despite him apparently saying he “has the incentive” to do so.
Making the issue more exasperated for Kristen Bell is the fact that she made the comment during October, which is Domestic Abuse Awareness month.
Kristen Bell raises eyebrows with anniversary post praising for Dax Shepard saying he wouldn’t murder her despite “having the incentive” to
“Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would,'” Bell wrote in the post, which she has since disabled the comments on.
After she published the post, Bell was dragged on social media — both for the apparent tone-deafness of her comment and the general weirdness of celebrities like she and Dax Shepard.

“Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have got to be the most obnoxious and insufferable couple in Hollywood, and that’s saying something. Anytime I see an ad with them in it, I no longer want to buy anything from that brand,” another annoyed tweeter added.
all of you flaming her for the caption but no one is judging how HE actually said this to her?? https://t.co/xXNubh7N9Z pic.twitter.com/2kABgcRI71

“When you actually deep dive a bit into these two as individuals and as a couple their vibes become way more sinister each time I see them,” another post said.

Anybody who’s ever listened to Shepard’s popular Armchair Expert podcast certainly won’t be surprised to hear him say something he thinks is emotionally profound only for it to actually have the intellectual depth of a trench built with a plastic shovel on the beach, as that’s essentially the core quality of his podcast.
Bell and Shepard got married in October 2013 and share two share daughters together: Lincoln, 12 years old, and Delta, 10.
