Larry David No Longer Speaking With Cheryl Hines; She Thinks It’s Because Of RFK Jr.

HBO

Larry David and Cheryl Hines have not spoken since the conclusion of Curb Your Enthusiasm. And according to Hines, she believes politics may have something to do with it.

Cheryl Hines, who co-starred as Larry David’s wife on his iconic HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm, recently revealed that she has not spoken to David since the conclusion of the show. Curb Your Enthusiasm ran for 12 seasons from 2000 to 2024.

While Hines says that the pair were never BFFs to begin with, she also thinks that he’s “not happy about politics” and that’s likely why they haven’t spoken in a couple years.

Hines has been married to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — who now serves as the controversial United States Secretary of Health and Human Services in the Trump administration — since 2014.

Cheryl Hines said that she is no longer speaking with former Curb Your Enthusiasm co-star Larry David and think it’s because of politics

“I actually think I would be fine talking to Larry. Somebody asked me, what would happen if you walked into a restaurant and he was there? I would be happy to see him and I’d say hi and we’d talk for a second,” Hines told NewsNation.

“So I don’t think that you know I don’t think that it’s a… I don’t know. It’s not like Larry and I used to play pickleball and we don’t now. You know what I mean? I would really see him at work or things like that once in a while, have lunch, but I haven’t really been around in L.A. the same time he has so I don’t know. I’m sure things would be fine with us. And at the same time, I’m sure he’s not happy about politics.”

In the final few seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm, David took numerous shots at Trump’s political movement and even wrote a storyline centered on the red MAGA hats.
