A Las Vegas bartender is calling out Lamar Odom, who’s a former NBA basketball champion player and in the Kardashian stratosphere. She claims he decided not only to cheap out on the tip but on the entire bill. He has since denied her claims.
In a viral video with more than 245,000 views, bartender Breanna Angel (@breanna.angel) shares what she says happened after serving Odom at her Las Vegas bar. She says that the incident happened several months ago.
“Lamar Odom came up into my bar with all of his young buddies,” Angel says.
The video shows clips of Odom at the bar, taking photos with Angel and seemingly singing karaoke (or at least listening to someone else being off-tune).
Over the course of the night, she claims Odom ordered around 10 shots of Don Julio but “didn’t pay for any of it. Didn’t tip me for any of it.”
“I told him, ‘Yo, you owe me money.’ He said, ‘Bye,'” Angel says.
While it seemed Breanna was initially excited, the experience certainly soured by the end of the night.
Lamar Odom Denies The Allegations
Odom told the BroBible the following in an email response:
“Fake News. If there were any debt owed, I would expect the Ahearn Hotel to contact me directly. I wish Breanna well and hope she’s happy with her ‘viral’ moment.”

Storytime
In a follow-up video, Angel shares a storytime with more details on what she says happened that night. She says that when Odom first arrived, she didn’t immediately recognize him.
When she asked his name, she says he responded with “handsome.” She says she didn’t catch on until she heard a co-worker say she was serving “the Kardashian fella.”
Angel says the bar was slow that night and that she gave Odom what she describes as exceptional service. She says she paid more attention to him than other customers.
“He ordered a whole bunch of tequila for him and his friends, and I was super nice. I gave him A1 service,” Angel says. “Matter of fact, I paid more attention to him than a lot of other people.”
When it came time to pay his tab, she says Odom started moving toward the door.
“I said, ‘Hey, Lamar. You owe me money. You have to pay for your—you have to pay for this,'” Angel recalls. “And he said, ‘Bye.’ Bye? What do you mean, ‘Bye? No. You have to pay. You have to pay for your tab, sir. I don’t care who you are. I don’t just give out liquor for free.'”
Angel says Odom walked out, so Angel called security. But she says the security staff didn’t go after him.
“I called security, and for whatever reason, security was all intimidated,” Angel says.
Why She Waited To Post
Angel says she kept the video in her drafts for months, hesitant to share it publicly since she knew Odom was dealing with a lot, including a sobriety journey and a contentious relationship with ex-wife Khloé Kardashian.
“In the moment, I really didn’t wanna post it just because I had seen all the stuff he was going through, and he is a human being,” she says.
She also mentions having served other celebrities with mixed results, including “the bald one” from Pawn Stars, who she says also doesn’t tip.
But now that she’s left Vegas, she says it feels like the right time.
“I hope he does better. I really do. Lamar, get it together, my friend. Big beautiful world out there. Don’t waste your life away,” she concludes.
Lamar Odom’s Public Struggles
Odom’s journey with addiction has been widely documented. According to E! News, the former NBA champion nearly died from an overdose at a Nevada brothel in 2015. The incident left him in a coma and sparked his eventual sobriety.
He’s since opened up about his recovery, including using alternative treatments and opening his own wellness treatment centers to help others battling addiction.
His relationship with ex-wife Khloé Kardashian has remained complicated.
In a season six episode of “The Kardashians” that aired in February 2024, the former couple came face-to-face for the first time in nine years. While Odom playfully called Khloé his “wife,” she was clear that she wasn’t interested in rekindling their romance.
In a confessional, Khloé said she’d “dealt with so much trauma in this relationship” and that learning to “unlove someone” was difficult.
