‘I’VE BEEN COLLECTING THEM FOR YEARS’: Houston Little Caesars Customer Collects 200 Proof Of Purchase Box Tabs. Then She Tries To Collect Her Reward

There’s nothing quite like free food—especially free pizza.

While the idea of a “pizza party” has lost a bit of luster over the years (mainly due to workplaces throwing them instead of offering their employees bonuses or raises), it’s pretty difficult to find someone who wouldn’t be at least a little excited by the idea of getting a couple of free slices.

That’s why Little Caesars fans became excited when they learned of an alleged “Little Caesars Pizza Party.” According to the rumor, Little Caesars fans could earn a pizza party for up to 30 people, so long as they could provide 200 proofs of purchase for the chain’s pizza.

One user on TikTok recently tried to actually get this pizza party. It wasn’t as easy as it should have been.

What Went Wrong With This Little Caesars Pizza Party?

In a video with over 186,000 views, TikTok user Ashley Duarte (@ashley_duarte90) shows a bag filled with what she says are 200 proofs of purchase for Little Caesars pizza.

“I collected 200 of these, and I was calling and calling and calling, like, ‘Where’s my free pizza party?’” she recalls. “And they were like, ‘Oh, we don’t do that no more. We don’t do this.’”

While Duarte says she was also directed to another phone number, she states that her attempts to get this alleged pizza party have proven fruitless.

“Y’all just wasting my time and my money,” she says. “What’s up, Little Caesars? Should I throw these away? Are these worth nothing?”

Does The ‘Little Caesars Pizza Party’ Exist?

Yes—but not in the way that Duarte believes it does.

The Little Caesars website notes the existence of a “Little Caesars ® Pizza Party Proof program.”

According to the website, providing proof of purchase of 200 pizzas will earn the provider “a pizza party for up to 30 people.”

However, there are two important stipulations. First, the program doesn’t seem to be designed for individuals. The website advertises that the program is “great for schools, daycare centers, teams and youth groups”—not individual customers.

Second, the website also states that pre-registration is required. This means that, in order to earn your pizza party, you have to register with the company before submitting your proofs of purchase. Once you’ve done that, you can reach out to a local Little Caesars store manager. From there, a pizza party can be organized.

Unfortunately, there’s not much that Duarte can do here. She can either contact her local Little Caesars and see if they’ll honor the promotion regardless. Alternatively, she can donate the proofs to a qualifying group.

Commenters Demand A Pizza Party

In the comments section, some users explained that Duarte did not meet the requirements of the program. However, others demanded that she and others who collected the proofs of purchase should still be eligible for a pizza party.

“ARE WE SERIOUS RN IVE BEEN COLLECTING THEM FOR YEARS,” wrote a user.

“I have tried and tried. I still have mine still hoping to get my party one day,” added another.

“That’s a lot! Girl they better give you a year supply or more!” exclaimed a third.
