Athos Salome, a Brazilian parapsychologist dubbed “Living Nostradamus,” has revealed his eerie predictions for 2026, including several involving celebrities. The 38-year-old is known for supposedly predicting numerous significant events over the years.

In 2026, the “Living Nostradamus” says Russia will unleash direct threats to Europe, according to the Mirror. He claims Russia will “call up approximately 800,000 reservists by March 2026” as it gears up for a “more assertive approach to cybersecurity and air defense.”

He also predicts the “Middle East region could experience a new period of tension in the second quarter of 2026.” You don’t have to be a mystic to guess that one.

Among his other predictions for 2026, include Japan suffering reductions in industrial production, fires affecting the southwestern United States, widespread blackouts across Asia, and a large-scale cyberattack between February and April 2026.

His biggest concern for 2026, however, has to do with space. According to the “Living Nostradamus,” it won’t be long before we are all concerned about what he calls “one of the most sensitive and high-stakes junctures for 2026.”

“Since 2024, it has peaked in solar activity and exhibited a marked trend of increasing instability. This is not inflated language. It mirrors an actual physical risk that’s growing month after month,” Salome told Unilad. “My direct and objective perspective is as follows: Solar storms now seem like the most plausible scenario to have such immediate impact on daily life and backed by robust science.”

He added that this problem “deserves full focus. Not out of fear, but rather due to measurable signals in synchrony with potential power cuts, communication failures and technological disruptions in affected regions.”

‘Living Nostradamus’ sees big changes for numerous celebrities in 2026

The “Living Nostradamus” also shared several predictions for some celebrities, including Blake Lively, Sydney Sweeney, Gayle King, and Katy Perry.

Blake Lively, who was involved in controversy throughout 2025, will see her career change in 2026. Salome tells the Daily Mail that she will focus her efforts on having larger behind-the-scenes involvement in her projects. That will involve her “taking on less acting roles.” Instead, she will focus on producing, curating and shaping creative projects.

“Living Nostradamus” also predicts that Sydney Sweeney will be able to repair her reputation over the next 12 months after a troublesome 2025. He said, “Euphoria’s return guarantees distinction. The reunion of actress and character provides increased opportunities to win television accolades.”

He added that Gayle King will step back from being a main co-host on CBS Mornings in 2026. That change will provide her with “less live exposure,” but “more room to approach bigger, more thoughtful projects.”

Katy Perry, who has also been the object of scorn and ridicule in 2025, will, according to Salome, reinvent her brand in 2026. Some of this will occur thanks to her relationship with Justin Trudeau.

Salome has supposedly predicted numerous major world events in the past correctly, including the 2019 global pandemic, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Every year, Athos Salome makes predictions with varying degrees of success. In 2025, he claimed that many of his predictions for 2024 came true. His success rate is certainly debatable, however. Neither him, nor the real Nostradamus or mystic Baba Vanga, are ever 100 percent accurate. So, please take his predictions with a giant grain of salt.
