If you’ve ordered Taco Bell’s Nachos BellGrande in the past, you may have noticed that they get soggy awfully fast. A Louisiana-based woman thinks that she has the “hack of a lifetime” on her hands to combat that. Not only will it keep your nachos from getting soggy, but it may also stretch your dollar.
In her video, New Orleans TikToker Dalia (@knuckletattoos) is in her car after just having gone through the Taco Bell drive-thru. She has two large oval-shaped containers with her—one is filled with just chips, and the other is filled with Nachos BellGrande toppings. Those toppings consist of seasoned beef, sour cream, beans, nacho cheese sauce, and diced tomatoes. Dalia reveals how she places this order in her video, which has nearly 1 million views.
“The ultimate hack is getting a Nacho BellGrande from Taco Bell with chips on the side,” she says. She says that employees may question this request, but she just explains to them she doesn’t want soggy chips. “‘I just want to dip it so the chips don’t get soggy,’” she says she tells them. “They give it to you like this, and then they fill this [container] up with all their might.”
Both containers are filled to the brim.
“You don’t get this much topping with regular Nacho BellGrande,” Dalia says, revealing this hack may be a good way to ensure you get a lot of food. “They blessed.”
At the end of the clip, she takes a chip and treats her toppings as a dip.

Did It Work For Viewers?
Viewers shared that because of Dalia’s video, they rushed to Taco Bell to try it out for themselves. Some in the comments section posted photos of their successful attempts to get loaded chips and fixings.
“I’ve never been influenced in my whole life so quickly,” one viewer wrote.
“Now I cannot stop. Best put on of my life,” another stated.
However, others shared that they were met with confusion by the workers and got skimped on portion sizes.
“My Taco Bell did me dirty and put everything in a small container separately,” one commenter shared.
“I ordered it that way and they literally didn’t understand,” a second remarked.

Why Isn’t The Hack Foolproof?
According to one Taco Bell worker, employees have to adhere to strict portion guidelines, and that may be the reason for the mediocre portion sizes some customers received. “I worked at a taco bell years ago. they might package them separately but most won’t fill it like that. Taco Bell is extremely strict on portion control and usually measures their scoop of meat, cheese ect,” they revealed.
This seems to be true. The Sun has reported on the extreme measures Taco Bell takes to keep portion sizes under control. And in 2023, a Taco Bell kitchen scale along with instructions for measuring out portions was “leaked” on Reddit.
Whether or not you receive a loaded Nachos BellGrande seems to vary by location, the employees working there, how they were trained, and what their manager is like. If you decide to try this out, note that results will vary.
