Marcus Jordan was reportedly so intoxicated during his recent DUI arrest that he not only asked the arresting officer to change the music while the back of the police cruiser, but also used profanity while doing so. Jordan also specifically asked for Mariah Carey to be played.
The 34-year-old Marcus Jordan was found to be in possession of cocaine, classified as a Class A drug, when he was found by police with his Lamborghini SUV stuck on Maitland train tracks in Florida.
Jordan — the second eldest child of Jordan and his first wife Juanita Vanoy — was arrested on charges of DUI, cocaine possession and resisting arrest and taken to the Orange County Jail, where he was booked and had his mugshot taken.
According to reports, Jordan was so intoxicated while in the back of the police cruiser that he asked them to put on holiday music despite the arrest took place on Tuesday, February 4.
“Cops wrote in the docs that Michael Jordan’s son was also loud, profane and belligerent — and exhibited a sarcastic, patronizing attitude towards authorities,” adding that Jordan “fidgeted constantly, talked incessantly, and got agitated and confrontational when given commands or asked questions.”
“Additionally, cops say the 34-year-old Jordan was upset about the music situation at the facility … claiming at one point he told them, ‘Can’t you play some holiday music or some s—?’ before adding, ‘Play some Mariah Carey up in this bitch.'” [via TMZ Sports]
Officially, Jordan was charged with DUI crash with property damage, possession of cocaine and resisting an officer without violence. His bond was set at $4,000 and he was released later that day.
