Margot Robbie Has Surprising Reaction To The Internet’s Obsession With Her Feet

If you’ve spent enough time on the internet, you’re likely all too aware it’s overflowing with people with some fairly unconventional obsessions you probably wouldn’t even know about if not for the various communities dedicated to them.

That includes plenty of websites and forums that largely revolve around paying a fairly inordinate amount of attention to the feet of famous people, and you have to imagine their members are incredibly envious of what Quentin Tarantino has been able to pull off over the course of his career.

I don’t want to destroy my search history by looking into this particular subject, but I can only assume those feet aficionados were over the moon when the trailer for Barbie was released earlier this year, which features multiple shots of a barefooted Margot Robbie linked to gags about the eponymous model’s permanently arched soles.

I can’t say I know what it’s like to know people on the internet have an obsession with your feet, but during a recent interview with CinemaBlend, Robbie admitted she’s very aware of what it’s like to occupy that particular reality—and she seems surprisingly cool with it.

During the exchange, the actress revealed she learned her feet had amassed a sizeable following when she Googled her own name and discovered the first autocomplete suggestion added “feet” to the end of it.

From there, she went down a rabbit hole where she discovered “there were pictures zoomed in on my feet, people were writing about them, and someone had made a video compilation of footage of my feet.”

While that kind of revelation might make some people want to Log Off for the rest of their lives, Robbie isn’t one of them, as she admitted she actually views it as a compliment, saying:

“I’m really flattered that people are excited about my feet. I think that’s lovely.

I am, genuinely. I don’t feel weird about it. I am actually like, that’s nice.”

Good for her.
