Melinda French Gates, the ex-wife of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, has shared her reactions to the billionaire tech mogul appearing in the latest batch of Jeffrey Epstein files. According to French Gates, her ex should have to answer for his links to the infamous predator.
Numerous high-profile people were listed in the latest batch of Epstein files, including Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Bill Clinton, Steven Tisch, Woody Johnson, Ehud Barak, Steve Bannon, Brett Ratner, Sergey Brin, and many more.
Among the unconfirmed allegations in the files was an email that alleged that Bill Gates contracted an STI from “Russian girls,” and that he then gave it to Melinda, leading him to ask Epstein for medicine he could slip her to cure it.
Melinda French Gates, the ex-wife of Bill Gates, says he ‘needs to answer’ whatever questions remain of his links to Jeffrey Epstein
“For me, it’s personally hard whenever those details come up, right? Because it brings back memories of some very, very painful times in my marriage,” she said during an interview on NPR’s Wild Card podcast.
“Whatever questions remain there of what — I can’t even begin to know all of it — those questions are for those people and for even my ex-husband. They need to answer to those things, not me.”

In a statement to NPR, a spokesperson for Bill Gates said that the allegations in the Epstein files are “absolutely absurd and completely false.”
“The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame,” the statement continued.
On Friday, January 30, the United States Justice Department published over 3 million additional pages — with more than 2,000 videos and 180,000 images — in compliance (albeit delayed) with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
