Prosecutors have charged Adva Lavie, AKA Mia Ventura, a model and social media influencer, with using dating apps to burglarize the homes of victims she met online. The 28-year-old allegedly targeted elderly, affluent victims in the Los Angeles area, according to prosecutors.

Authorities accuse the former Penthouse Pet and Playboy model of trolling online dating sites to choose her targets. Lavie, also known as Mia Ventura Shoshana, or Shana, reportedly claims to be the first-ever top Israeli OnlyFans model.

Prosecutors have accused her of going on a spree of burglaries

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, between 2023 and 2025, Lavie used dating apps to build relationships. She then used those relationships to rob and steal. Her alleged victims include wealthy older men and younger women in Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills.

“She is accused of posing as a girlfriend and travel companion to gain access to victims’ homes and then stealing cash, gold and high-end designer items,” the District Attorney’s Office stated on Tuesday.

On March 23, authorities charged Adva Lavie with six felonies, including two counts of first-degree residential burglary, two counts of grand theft, and two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney plans to hold her ‘accountable’

“This ruling means the evidence in this case will now be presented before a jury,” said Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman. “At her trial, we will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this defendant exploited trust built through online relationships to gain access to victims’ homes and steal from them. Her ability to deceptively influence others, whether in person or online, has now come to an end. Our office is committed to holding accountable anyone who uses deception and manipulation to prey on others.”

The court set Lavie’s arraignment for April 6. She previously entered a not guilty plea. The court has ordered her to avoid her alleged victims and to wear an ankle monitor. If convicted on all counts, she faces up to 11 years and 8 months in state prison.
