Did you know that NASA faked the moon landing in 1969? That’s right, the whole Apollo 11 lunar mission “didn’t happen.” At least according to Kim Kardashian, who backed up her claim by citing videos she watched on TikTok.

Kardashian rebooted the longstanding conspiracy theory about the moon landing on the latest episode of The Kardashians. It happened during a conversation she was having with her All’s Fair co-star Sarah Paulson.

“I’m sending you, so far, a million articles with both Buzz Aldrin and … the other one,” Kim Kardashian told Paulson. “This girl says, ‘What was the scariest moment?’ And [Aldrin] goes, ‘There was no scary moment, cause it didn’t happen. It could’ve been scary, but it wasn’t, cause it didn’t happen.”

Buzz Aldrin, for those unfamiliar, was the Lunar Module Eagle pilot on the 1969 Apollo 11 mission and the the second astronaut to walk on the moon after mission commander Neil Armstrong in 1969.

Kim Kardashian believes that because Buzz Aldrin has “gotten old,” he slipped up. “So I think it didn’t happen,” she said.

Later in the show, a producer asked Kim Kardashian if she was serious. She replied, “I don’t think we did. I think it was fake. I’ve seen a few videos [of] Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn’t happen. He says it all the time now, in interviews.”

Kardashian then rattles off what she calls evidence that the conspiracy theory is true. “Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn’t happen?” she asked. “There’s no gravity on the moon — why is the flag blowing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon [have] a different [foot]print than the photos. Why are there no stars?”

The producer then mentions that people are going to think she is crazy for her belief. Kardasian replied in her defense, “They’re gonna say I’m crazy no matter what. But like, go to TikTok. See for yourself.”

NASA acting administrator Sean Duffy sets Kim Kardashian straight

Just hours after the episode of The Kardashians was released, Sean Duffy, the acting administrator of NASA, fired off a response to Kim Kardashian’s moon landing conspiracy theory.

“Yes, @KimKardashian, we’ve been to the Moon before… 6 times!” he wrote on X. “And even better: @NASAArtemis is going back under the leadership of @POTUS. We won the last space race and we will win this one too.”

Also, as People magazine pointed out, Buzz Aldrin very clearly said the opposite of what Kim Kardashian claims during last year’s 55th anniversary celebration of the Apollo 11 mission.

Then, ignoring Sean Duffy’s response, Kim Kardashian then doubled down, asking him, “Wait…. what’s the tea on 3I Atlas?!?!!!!!!!?????”

There has been a lot of speculation on the internet about whether or not interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS is an alien spacecraft. To make a long story short, it’s not.
