Rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again, who is perhaps best known as NBA YoungBoy, wants to perform at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Lane Kiffin and LSU want to make it happen.

The director of building services at Louisiana State University hopes the rapper (or his representation) will reach out to him. Anything he touches turns into gold.
NBA YoungBoy wants to perform at Tiger Stadium.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again was born and raised in The Red Stick. He built a regional following in the state of Louisiana through his early mixtapes, while in juvenile detention.
The 26-year-old has since become one of the biggest rappers on the planet with more than 20,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. His songs ‘Make No Sense,’ ‘Untouchable,’ and ‘Outside Today’ are his most popular but ‘War With Us’ or ‘No Love’ are probably my favorites.
NBA YoungBoy recently did an interview with Complex for its January 2026 cover story. When asked whether he would ever perform in his hometown, the Baton Rouge-native said yes. On one condition.
“Only if I could perform at LSU stadium,” he said. “That’s the only way.”
Lane Kiffin is on board.

The rapper recently completed his first major national arena tour, which grossed more than $70 million. It was also his return to live performances after years of legal restrictions.
NBA YoungBoy was swarmed by fans on Bourbon Street during his stop in New Orleans.
A return to B.R. would be even more insane. It would be one of the biggest concerts, ever.
LSU Director Igor Matkovic says it is possible.
Igor Matkovic serves as the Director of Building Services on the operations team for facilities at Louisiana State University. He has been in that role since 2011.
The Matkovic family moved to the United States from Bosnia (and Croatia) after their son graduated from high school. Igor did not speak any english when he moved to Baton Rouge at the age of 20. He got a job as a custodian at LSU in 2000. Now, 25/26 years later, Matkovic oversees the entire department.
Matkovic is a big fan of NBA YoungBoy.
