Rapper Nicki Minaj suprised many with her surprise appearance at Erika Kirk’s Turning Point USA event.
On Sunday, Minaj walked out with Kirk at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest event in Phoenix, Arizona.

During the event, Minaj slammed California Governor Gavin Newsom and praised “handsome” President Trump, who she called a role model for young men.
“For young men and for young man don’t be Newscum. See. They’re young men you have amazing role models like our handsome dashing president and you have amazing role models like the assassin J.D Vance our vice president.”
“For Boys. be boys. it’s okay be boys it’s nothing wrong with being a boy how about that.”

Minaj also spoke about why it’s important for her to express her political views in public, despite receiving backlash.
“Sometimes you get tired of it, and then you realize, I have something inside of me that’s stronger than what’s out there. I’m not gonna back down anymore. I’m not gonna back down ever again.”
