Nikola Jokic’s Wife Hit In The Face By Beer Can Thrown By Fan At Nuggets Championship Parade

Nikola Jokic probably had the right idea when HE wanted to go home instead of attending the Nuggets parade on Thursday.

Earlier this week, Jokic went viral when he appeared to get sick after learning that he had to stay in America for a few more days before being able to back to Serbia.

“When is [the] parade?” Jokic asked reporters, and was informed that it was later on Thursday

“No, “I need to go home,” Jokic said while grabbing his head in disbelief.

During the parade, Jokic’s wife, Natalija, unfortunately got hit in the face by a flying beer thrown by a fan.

Jokic will be on the first plane out of Denver after the parade to get home.

“I don’t know how I’m going to arrive. Thursday, late. Friday, maybe,” he said. “I’m going to ask Josh [Kroenke] to give me a plane.”
