As popular social media influencer Paige Spiranac is well aware, with all of the Majors now complete, the talk of the golf world has now turned to the Ryder Cup.

In particular, the talk centers around whether or not Brooks Koepka belongs on the American team.

Koepka, who won this year’s PGA Champion and was one of the LIV defectors, finished seventh in the U.S. team points rankings. Only the top six are automatically placed on the team. Those golfers are Scottie Scheffler, Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Patrick Cantlay, Max Homa and Xander Schauffele.

The American team captain Zach Johnson will pick the other six players he wants on the team and many fans want him to choose Koepka.

But who does Paige Spiranac, the world’s number one female golf influencer want to see on the American Ryder Cup team? Let’s go to the Twitter, errr, X video.

“Here’s what I would do,” Paige advised.

“We’re going three down the list. Brooks Koepka plays well under pressure, loves competition, and has experience.

“Jordan Speith gels with the team, has experience.

“Cameron Young bombs it off the tee and he’s going to be a sneaky good partner for Brian Harman.

“Next three… a little but more interesting.

“I’m skipping Collin Morikawa. His putter’s a little too dicey for me and I’m going to replace him with one of the best putters on tour, Rickie Fowler.

“Keegan Bradley, he’s been saying how much this would mean to him and I like that attitude.

“Hot take here, I’m going with Dustin Johnson for my last pick.”

Then she asked, with her patented jiggle, what her viewers would do with their six Ryder Cup picks.

Some alternative suggestions from the crowd were Bryson DeChambeau, Lucas Glover, Patrick Reed, Tony Finau, and Justin Thomas. Mostly though, it was Glover.

The 2023 Ryder Cup begins this year on Friday, Sept. 29 at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, Italy.
