Actress Pamela Anderson recently opened up about crossing paths with Seth Rogen at this year’s Golden Globes and the grudge she holds over the Pam & Tommy series he produced a few years back.
Released in 2022 on Hulu, Pam & Tommy was based on he 2014 Rolling Stone article “Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World’s Most Infamous Sex Tape.”
The series detailed the theft of the couple’s infamous sex tape and its sale on the internet, with Seth Rogen producing the series and starring as Rand Gauthier, the man who stole the tape from their home.
Pamela Anderson says she felt “yucky” being near Seth Rogen, who produce Pam & Tommy, at the Golden Globes
“Seth Rogen… he did Pam & Tommy without talking to me. I just felt like ugh. How can someone make a TV series out of difficult times in your life? And I am living, breathing human being over here. He was in the pit at the Golden Globes. We were close. I felt like I’m not chopped liver over here,” Anderson told Andy Cohen during an SiriusXM radio interview
“I felt weird about it… It felt a little yucky. Eventually, hopefully, he will reach out to me to apologize, not that it matters. When you are a public person, they say you have no right to privacy. But your darkest, deepest secrets or tragedies should not be fair game for a TV series. That pissed me off a little bit.”
Rogen actually went home as a winner on the night as his AppleTV+ comedy series The Studio took home multiple awards, including Rogen for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
