Paris Hilton is getting ripped for claiming in a new interview that she is “self-made.” The 44-year-old heiress also claims that she has worked hard for everything she has achieved. All of her success has nothing to do with her wealthy relatives. This is what she claims.
Hilton currently is in charge of her own business, 11:11 Media. The company, which calls itself “a global media content company and platform,” is valued at $1 billion and employs 25 people.
She is a lot smarter than people give her credit for, she claims. “I’m not a dumb blonde. I’m just very good at pretending to be one,” Paris Hilton told The Sunday Times.
Paris has made millions of dollars as the star of a reality show, a model, a singer, a DJ, and an entrepreneur. According to The Sunday Times, Hilton has earned millions of dollars through collaborations with lines of clothing, perfume, skincare, handbags, kitchenware, and even Crocs designed for dogs.

Her company, 11:11 Media, “is based in a large office building in Hilton’s back garden, nestled between a five-hole golf course, a lagoon-style swimming pool with a water slide and a hot pink tennis court emblazoned with a giant ‘Paris’ signature.” And she did it all by herself.
“I’m self-made,” she claims. “Like, I’ve done this all on my own. No one’s ever given me anything in my entire life.”
The fact that almost none of what she’s achieved would have been possible if wasn’t born into the Hilton family seems to have eluded her. This did not go unnoticed by a plethora of people on social media, especially on Reddit.
“You had a perfume called ‘Heiress’ gurl be fr,” read one comment, while others called her delusional and narcissistic.
“Even if you didn’t take seed money, handouts, or other direct support, there’s a huge difference between the kinds of risks someone coming from a background of wealth and security can take and someone just trying to keep food on the table can take,” another person pointed out, echoing the comments of many.
“She has no idea of her privileges she has,” someone else observed.
