Leaked audio between two pilots and air traffic control (ATC) in Oregon reveals an air controller telling the pilots to “maneuver” around some UFOs. The encounter reportedly took place around 8:40 p.m. this past Saturday just west of Eugene.
According to audio of the alleged UFO encounter, the pilots reported telling ATC that they were seeing UFOs with red, circular lights. The UFOs were moving rapidly and erratically.
“Is there any military activity out straight ahead of us?” a pilot who identified himself as traveling on United Airlines flight 1596 from Denver to Eugene said in the 45-minute audio, released by LiveATC.net.
“No, we’re not seeing anything,” an air traffic controller replied. “I had another one report at 30,000 feet in the Eugene area. We’re not sure what it is.”
“Yeah, there’s lots of movement out there,” the pilot said back
“They’re looking into it,” the air traffic controller replied.
“Yeah, just straight west of Eugene. I mean it’s… we’re seeing three or four targets. They’re all altitudes,” the pilot went on to say. “Up and down. It’s pretty crazy.”
“Does it look like it’s at your altitude?” ATC responded.
“There was some at 30 [thousand feet] probably, they’re shooting way up, we say, even up to the 50s it looked like,” the pilot replied.
Newsweek reports, “According to flightradar24.com, only one other aircraft was within close vicinity to Eugene at this time. No information about the aircraft is listed on the website except for its model type, a Pilatus PC-12 NG, which is an aircraft commonly used as an air ambulance.”
A medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) pilot did also reported seeing similar UFOs moving in what was described as something like “a corkscrew pattern.”
“Just had another one show up about my 1 o’clock about 1,000 feet high, zipping towards us and then back out towards the ocean,” the MEDEVAC pilot told ATC. “It’s red in color, um, moving at extreme speeds. I don’t even know how to describe on how it’s moving.”
“Medevac 1LF roger,” ATC responded. “You are cleared to maneuver as necessary, left and right, to avoid the UFO out there. And uh, all of the reports you’re giving us are good information, appreciate it.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) did confirm the sightings, stating, “A pilot reported seeing unidentified lights while flying in Seattle Air Route Traffic Control Center airspace on Saturday, Dec. 7.” The FAA, however, declined any further comment.
The UFO encounters in Oregon come on the heels of a series of mysterious drone sightings around Staten Island and New Jersey. Things have gotten so serious over those reports that a State Senator in New Jersey has called for a state of emergency and a local Congressman is now blaming an Iranian “mothership” for the drone activity.
